rising from the depths of the glass
The bottom of the coke is definitely a lighter colour than the top. There seems to be more light coloured coke in the bearhug glass than the chico.
The lollies look like they have swollen considerably, but that could just be the effect of looking at it through the glass

strange things at the bottom of my glass
I don't know if the bottom of the glass looks slightly clearer or if the lollies are going white.... it looks like the darker colour is rising to the top, with a lighter brown on the bottom
Interesting....
Interesting....
There is sludge
It looks like there is some kind of sludge floating on top...
Slightly more sludge on the bearhug coke

Experiment set up
The great experiment begins
After a discussion of caffeine and my apparent coke, as in cola, addiction I have been dared to do this experiment.
The premise of the experiment is that Chicos when left in coke turns it, the coke, clear.
While out buying Chicos for the experiment, I came across a rival product called Bearhugs made by the Natural Confectionery Company. It made sense to see if the Bearhugs did the same thing to coke as Chicos.
I will record all findings of the experiment in this blog...
Thanks David.
All left over lollies will be in the lolly container on my desk at work. Please help yourself.
